Northern Weeds Pest & Landscapes is a father and son team based in Kapunda, offering full property upkeep across the region with a strong focus on landscaping, weeds and land care.
The business began with Ryan more than 15 years ago. He first studied conservation and land management in Queensland before life pulled him south. After settling in Kapunda, he built a landscape and pest management company from the ground up. From 2012 to 2024, he subcontracted for Johnsons, managing vineyards, designing gardens and maintaining multiple properties across six sites. During this time he also ran his own successful business, supporting vineyards, farms, commercial sites and residential clients with a wide range of property and land services.

Ryan brings over 15 years of hands-on experience across landscaping, land care and property maintenance. With a background in conservation and land management, he has spent years managing vineyards, designing gardens and maintaining a wide range of properties throughout the region. His practical knowledge, attention to detail and long-standing relationships with property managers, businesses and locals underpin the way Northern Weeds Pest & Landscapes operates today.
Jalen Zivic
Jalen joined the business in 2014 through a school-based apprenticeship and has grown his skills on the job ever since. He holds a Certificate III in Landscaping and a Certificate III in Horticulture, and brings a strong work ethic and practical approach to every project. Working alongside Ryan, Jalen plays a key role in delivering reliable landscaping and property maintenance services across the region.
